Guitar and Vocals - Pete Mitchell (rocking blues guitarist) who has worked with Special Brew, Carl Wayne (The Move) Minstrel Band, Hustler, and DRIVE.

In 1998 DRIVE came off the road after a solid 10 year period of gigging and touring. In 2007 after a break, mainly writing and chilling out in his French farmhouse retreat, Pete decided to reform his popular circuit band DRIVE.

The decision was taken to reform DRIVE after a great response this year to Pete's book 'Outside Looking In' and his CD 'Cutting The Mustard'. Both have received excellent reviews from around the world.

DRIVE are based in Surrey UK, and are currently gigging and touring the UK and Europe. Playing Rocking Blues covers by artists such as Clapton, Freddie King, Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Stones, JJ Cale, Frankie Miller, Johnny Winter, Bob Segar, Stevie Ray Vaughan, ZZ Top etc, and also playing original tracks off Pete's solo CD 'Cutting The Mustard'.

DRIVE are an exciting band of seasoned musicians, well travelled with a fine pedigree, who are quite simply making music, entertaining, and having a great time doing it. In March 2008 the band successfully toured the South West on their 'DESTINY' tour. Encouraged by the interest and support, the 'BUZZ' tour will follow in October 2008.
